A concentrated rich and full wine with flavours of spices, creamy dark fruit and a smoky undertone.

Uiterwyk Wine Estate produced its maiden vintage of Shiraz in 1999. It was the first Shiraz in South Africa made in the Northern Rhône tradition where Viognier is added to develop a softer more fragrant style.
